How do I get a Police Check?

Digital badges like the Police Check one are visual symbols of trust and add credibility to your sitter listing and encourages new clients who have never met you to book your services. When we receive a clear police check result back from National Crime Check we automatically allocate a Police checked badge to your profile.

Pet Sitters are able to get a Police check online here: https://www.petcloud.com.au/verifications It costs only $53.  

Tip 1: The cost of a police check may be tax deductible, depending on your circumstances. Ask your Tax Agent.
Tip 2: The cost of a police check may be paid for by your Employment Service Provider (ESP) such as WorkSkil Australia. Please ask them. You will be referred to an ESP by Centrelink.

It takes an excessive amount of Administrative time and money to review the validity of Police checks obtained from other sources, so in order to keep our service fees low, for this reason, we no longer accept Police checks from any other source other than National Crime Check.
