How do I sync my Calendar?
No more Double-booking
PetCloud now enables you to insert PetCloud Bookings into your iCloud, Google, Office 365, Exchange, Outlook external calendar.
Manage your day-to-day responsibilities of running your business alongside your personal schedule. Sync your PetCloud calendar with your personal one, helping you to stay organised and giving you complete visibility of what’s happening on any given day.
Syncing your PetCloud Calendar to an external calendar
To sync your PetCloud events to an external calendar:
Click [↻ Sync Calendar]. Our new two-way sync gives you real-time visibility in both directions.
Syncing also blocks out dates in your PetCloud Calendar that your Personal calendar says you have events on (so that you don't receive Pet Sitting enquires from PetCloud Customers for those dates).
Visibility with privacy
Shared calendars make scheduling easier, but they shouldn’t come at the expense of your privacy. For any events synced from an external Calendar, we make sure that the full event details are only visible to the person who synced the calendar. We intentionally kept parts of external calendars and PetCloud separate. This helps ensure that they both work as intended and you experience no unexpected surprises.
Removing a synced Calendar
To remove a synced calendar from your PetCloud account:
[Remove a synced calendar] clears my PetCloud Calendar so that I can resync if I have changed devices, changed personal email accounts, or if I don't want to Pet Sit anymore.
After unsyncing, new appointments will no longer be exported to your external calendar, but they will still appear in your PetCloud calendar.
Depending on the external calendar you use, it may take some time for the PetCloud events to appear in your external calendar.
PetCloud events will only show a start time and an end time. Any changes made to a PetCloud calendar event, for example, a cancelled or rescheduled appointment, will be reflected in the external calendar.
If you have updated your external calendar's password, you will need to resync and reallow permissions using the new password.
