To service and maintain a safe, high quality service and booking platform, it takes a combination of costs, so we deduct a small service fee of 20% of the booking payout.  As a Sitter, you need to factor this into your prices when setting them and add a buffer on top of your prices, so that you feel happy with the amount you are being paid out.
