Support for NDIS Pet Owners experiencing a Crisis
If you or an NDIS Pet Owner you know, has a hospital emergency and needs fast support as an Ancillary to a Major funded NDIS Support to help care for their pets, the fastest way may be to privately fund a booking via PetCloud's escrow service. Don't have a credit card?
Steps to Post a Job or Support on PetCloud's National Self-Service platform:
- Post a Job for Pet Boarding or Home Visits
- An email and sms notification is immediately sent out to our network in a 25km radius of the location specified on the job.
- Available Applicants apply within an hour. Choose one suitable to meet with.
- Message the Carer through the PetCloud website or App and and arrange to meet. Tell them how they can help.
- Once you meet: Are they suitable? If yes, Make Payment into PetCloud's escrow via your PetCloud Inbox. Care for pets cannot begin until the booking has been funded into PetCloud's escrow. Funds will only be released to the Carer at the end of the booking. If longer term pet boarding is required, then payment can occur weekly.
The process to request for the NDIA's consideration:
1. Complete the Supporting Evidence Template with your own evidence
2. Complete a ‘Change in Circumstances’ Plan Review Request form and email it + your supporting evidence to enquiries@ndis.gov.au Or email it to your Local Area Coordinator (LAC) Partner.
Your Support Coordinator can also assist with all of the above processes as required and they can also provide any advice requiring an immediate short term response. The NDIA encourages all participants to discuss all support requirements at their Plan Review Meeting so that support needs and transitional supports can be accurately assessed.
