What are Performance Scores?

Performance Scores help Pet Professionals benchmark how they’re performing compared to other Pet Professionals on PetCloud for each Service they offer. The scores influence their listing ranking in on site search results. The higher your score, the better your placement in search results on PetCloud.
Tips:
  1. There are no penalties for declining requests that aren’t matched with your listed preferences or availability. For instance, if the client has a Reptile and your profile states that you only accept cats, scores won’t be affected if the request is declined.
  2. Your scores can only be viewed by you.
Score Types
Each of the services you offer have two types of scores: a booking score, and a repeat score.
Booking score: This score consists of your overall booking rate, which looks at the number of new clients who contact you for the first time and measures that against how many of them end up booking with you and leaving you a positive review.
Repeat score: Your repeat score tells you how often your first-time clients book with you again. If you haven’t booked enough repeat clients to generate a score yet, then it may appear in grey.
Repeat Client Count: This count appears on your public sitter profile. This reflects how many clients have booked with you more than once across all services you offer.

Where can I see my Performance Scores?
You can view Performance scores from your dashboard if you are logged in as a sitter. On the Mobile Apps under the Sitter role in the menu you will see a menu item: Performance scores.
Offer more than one service? Toggle between them by selecting the dropdown menu to see your scores for each service.  See N/A as a score for one of your services? It means that you haven’t received or booked enough requests to generate a score yet. As you book more requests and build repeat bookings with clients, you’ll eventually receive a score for that service.

How to improve your Booking Score
  1. Respond to each request you receive within 2hrs, even if you’re unable to accept the request. Regular Communication is key to running a successful business. It also ensures that you maintain a high reply rate.
  2. Book as many requests as your availability in your calendar can accept. This will help you maintain a high booking rate.
  3. Ask Pet Owners to leave reviews. Positive reviews not only factor into your performance scores, but they also demonstrate your trustworthiness to new Pet Owners.
  4. Regularly update your calendar to ensure that it reflects your availability.
  5. Create a listing that quickly tells and shows Pet Owners you’ve never met before, where their pet would safely play, rest, or go for walks.
How to improve your Repeat Score
  1. Send daily photo and pet activity and wellness updates to Pet Owners via the PetCloud App during bookings.
  2. Be accessible and communicate often with Pet Owners.
  3. Provide amazing care, whether it’s your 1st or 15th booking with a Pet Owner.
  4. Give loyal clients a heads up about your availability before busy seasons or vacations.
  5. Tell clients you would love them to book with you again through PetCloud next time.
  6. Never accept cash —always book via PetCloud.
