Vetted is an ambiguous marketing term used by some companies to mislead Pet Owners into booking someone who they think are rigorously trained in Animal Care and Police checked, when in fact - they're not. It sometimes just means the person can use a phone and email. So in reality, 'vetted' might just mean not much.
This is why our company chooses to use explicit terms such as "Police checked" or "Trained in Animal Care". Some Pet Owners don't care about police checks or training, and so to honour both parties; those that don't care, and those who do care, we display specific verification badges in our marketplace to provide Pet Owners with a choice as to who they wish to select to care for their pets. May you make the best choice for you and your pets...
