What insurance am I covered with when using PetCloud to get bookings?
Our Insurance will cover Veterinary expenses of guest pets, if those guest pets are booked via PetCloud:
- A guest pet escapes and gets injured while in a Pet Sitter's care
- A guest pet is injured and requires Veterinary treatment
- A guest pet injures another guest pet while in care
Note: An excess of $1500 is required to be paid by the Pet Sitter in the event of a successful claim whether the Pet Sitter is at fault or otherwise
Insurance typically doesn't cover:
- Damage to the Pet Sitter's property
- Injury caused by the pet to the host, host family or host pet
- Claims arising from the care of designated dangerous dogs, or guest pets that have previously attacked another animal or human requiring medical attention
- Breach of professional conduct – for example, walking the animal off-leash in an on-leash area, disregarding PetCloud's Sitter rules
- Pre-existing medical conditions, illness or old age
- Reduction in potential show or stud value.
