What should I write in my Pet Sitter Listing description?
A truly great Dog Walker or Pet Sitter bio will highlight your experience, demonstrate your passion for pets, build trust, and let them know you’re local. The types of things you could write about in your description might be:
- How many years pet sitting experience do you have?
- Do you own pets?
- Do you have a secure fenced yard?
- What aspects about your home or neighbourhood is great for dogs?
- Do you have a cat enclosure?
- Have you volunteered at an Animal Rescue?
- Why should a Pet Owner choose you?
- Do you own a car to transport pets to the Vet or Groomer?
- Are you happy to offer pick up or drop offs?
- Is your place smoke free?
- Is your place child free perhaps?
- Is there a grassy mowed lawn for dogs to play in?

Hi my name is Sarah. I grew up with a cat and a dog and I have 2 years experience pet sitting and walking dogs. My neighbourhood is great for dogs because there is a local park with plenty of shade and footpaths. I have previously volunteered at an animal rescue. I own a car and am licensed, should your pet need to be taken to the Vet. I have completed the online RSPCA Accredited training course and I am police checked, and insured through PetCloud. I work full time during the week as a Receptionist for a Real Estate company and on weekends I really enjoy discovering new local dog friendly cafes in Bondi Junction. When pet sitting, I send daily photo updates for your peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your fur kids. Let's start with a meet & greet at my place.

I live in a low set, tidy, smoke-free house with a fully fenced, mowed, large grassy backyard to play with enrichment toys in. Guest Dogs are allowed on the couch and usually sleep inside overnight in their bed. I do like cats, but I don't have an outdoor cat enclosure, so I can only offer Home Visits for cats. I own a 7 year old cavoodle dog so your dog must be socialised and compatible with mine.
