A National Police check gives Pet Owners more confidence to book you as it provides confirmation - that at the time of onboarding - you haven't previously been convicted of Animal Cruelty. 

If a person is convicted of animal cruelty, this will display as a DCO discloseable court outcome on the Police check, and your listing won't be able to go live.

To get a Police check, it may be paid for by your Employment Service Provider, while a renewed police check, may be tax deductible, depending on your circumstances. Ask your Accountant.
