Do I need to pay anything to PetCloud?
It's free to join PetCloud. There are no annual or monthly membership fees. There are also no enormous franchising fees. For example, some organisations want you to pay $20,000 to use their brand and training and then you are assigned a geographic territory. With PetCloud - we don't tell you have to stick to an assigned geographic territory. You can house sit, dog walk, or offer pet care from wherever you choose.
However, in saying this, PetCloud is not a lead generation website, and you are not permitted to take our clients off platform. Clients and bookings we refer to you must continue to be booked through PetCloud infinitely. There is a small percentage that we deduct from every booking to help pay for:
- Insurance
- Website Development
- App development
- Support Team
- Marketing
- Training
So take this into account when setting your prices and set your prices slightly higher to compensate this.
Pet Sitters will need to provide a recent Police check in the last 12 months OR if you don't have one, apply for a fresh
Police check which costs $53.
In the event of a successful insurance claim by a Pet Owner in regard to a Pet Accident and requiring Vet Medical attention during a booking you will need to pay a $1500 excess fee.
